John Rainford Writer
John worked as a ship builder in Sydney and Newcastle before becoming a trade union organiser and writer, and now lives in the Illawarra. He has written a number of books and is a regular contributor to Green Left Weekly.

John has 30 years video experience and is a co-founder of Art Resistance, a not-for-profit media organisation that creates videos for unions, community groups, refugee and environmental organisations and more.
Ash Pemberton Design
Ash is a designer who has worked in publishing and written on a wide range of topics. This is his first involvement in a film project.
Paul Benedek Co-Director & Co-Editor
Paul helped establish Green Left TV, and has created short productions on Palestine, David Hicks, socialism and union struggles. This is the first feature film he has been involved in.
Jill Hickson Camerawork & Co-Editor
Jill has decades of experience as a camera operator and editor and co-founded Art Resistance. She has helped make films on Aboriginal rights, East Timor justice, women's rights and more.
Mel Barnes Camerawork
Mel is co-editor of the newspaper Green Left Weekly and lives in Wollongong. She has been an activist for social justice issues for 10 years. This is the first film she has worked on.
